We conduct guided safari tours within the Southern African region and depending on the tour selected, we have packaged safari destinations to selected luxury game lodges, wilderness camps, as well as self drive convoy tours.
Whether you as our client want to embrace the game lodge arena – fully inclusive of meals, guided game drives etc.. to guided self-drive convoy tours in your own vehicle, and I as your personal guide, we are able to accommodate and manage such safari tours.
You will be accompanied by a Professional Field Nature Site Guide on your safari trips, managing & guiding the entire tour operation, whether be it to selected game lodges, wilderness camps, self drives to national game parks / reserves, and private game camps, will be hands-on, sharing the experience with the tour party regarding the wildlife ecosystem from the Big 5 to the Small 5.

Guided Safari Trips
I guide Safari trips and tours within the Southern African Region, being an Accredited Field Nature Site Guide and Back-up Walking Trails Guide.
We have safari lodge packages comprising up to 5 star luxury accommodation, gourmet meals, where a shuttle service (road / air) is optional to these sites, or arrive under your own transport.
We will be taking you on safari destinations to selected game lodges, where you the client will enjoy luxury accommodation, to gourmet dining, wilderness camps, primitive walks, as well as I being your Qualified Field Guide conducting / co-hosting the morning and afternoon game drives, and Back-up Trails Guide on the walks.
Regarding guided self drive convoy tours, you use your own vehicle and off road camper trailer if desired, where I lead, manage and guide the tour from start to end of journey.
I carry the necessary off-road recovery gear, so you do not have to buy or bring your own gear, just your vehicle (not sedan) but x2 / x4 SUV / Bakkie or similar (unless otherwise stated in package).

Credentials & Skills
Field Nature Site Guide – Having attained the Professional Field Guide Qualification as depicted above, I’ve gained invaluable knowledge and experience in the guiding domain to present my skill set. My passion is to share the wildlife arena, for one to go away with a better appreciation and understanding of animals, birds and their behaviour, nature (trees, grass, fauna, flora etc..) and the environment.
Whether we are on a morning or afternoon game drive, walks, or during the tour / stay, I will endeavour to impart my knowledge and the love for nature, for you to be able to take back, encountering wonderful and memorable times during your safari trip.
Walking Trails Back-up Guide – Further to the Professional Field Guide Qualification, I’m qualified as a Trails Back-up to the Lead Trails Guide in Walking Trails – that is walking in the bush on foot in dangerous game areas. The standard is x1 Lead Trails Guide & x1 Back-up Trails Guide per 8 guests / persons.
The protocol entails safety and awareness whilst conducting walking trails.
The Lead Trails Guide and Back-up Trails Guides are qualified in rifle proficiency and each carry such on the walking trails.
Tracks, Signs, Trailing, Tracker – I have achieved a high level of competence in this field from the Big 5 to the Small 5, birds and reptiles etc.., identifying the tracks on ground and signs of disturbed vegetation pertaining to the animal. Also tracking & trailing the wildlife through the bush, by identifying their spoors, movement & disturbance of the surrounding foliage.
Birding – Birding plays an integral part in any Field Guide activities, having a reasonable knowledge of bird identification, their sounds and basic habitat is a must for any Guide’s skill set.
There’s location tours and activities for all types of personal interests, whether one is camping under the stars in one’s own or hired equipped vehicle, or off road camper trailer and moving from campsite to campsite in a national game park / reserve or across country, or choosing an inclusive (bar facilities – client account) wilderness camp for the duration of stay, to fully inclusive beverages (excl. premium beverage brands and cellar reserve wines), gourmet dining luxury lodges.
The wilderness camps and luxury lodges package include, meals, daily morning and afternoon game drives / walking trails.
